BELLE de BOSKOOP

   Originated in Boskoop, Netherlands, mid 1800's from Reinette de Montfort. Fruit is greenish-yellow flushed  red with light russeting ; yellow flesh , brisk sharp , slightly sweet flavor; aromatic.

  All purpose ,excellent dessert apple particularly out of storage where it sweetens. Stores well through the winter. Resistant to apple scab and fireblight, quite winter hardy (4) , triploid variety. Harvest early to mid October, 150 days bloom to harvest.
