Canadian orders only (except British Columbia).  Trees are shipped as bare root specimens via express post and are well packaged to ensure your plants reach you in excellent condition.  You may of course pick up your order at the farm.   Orders will be shipped or ready for pick up at an arranged time in spring (mid to late April).  Notes on planting will be enclosed with your order.  Trees may be  ordered at any time during the year, the earlier the better for the best selection.  Custom budding is available using your buds or our. 

Selecting Fruit Trees      Refer to pollination requirements for each group.  Consider the ultimate size of the tree when planning your site.  Do not choose poorly drained locations.  Harvest dates refer to the approximate ripening date at our location.  The winter hardiness zone ratings are intended as a general conservative guideline.  Often trees may be successful in colder zones than they are rated for when given sheltered locations and are well cared for.  Consult the Canadian Plant Hardiness Zone map to find your zone.  A plus sign beside the zone rating (4+) indicates this variety may be hardier than expected.  One year whips are trees that are usually from 2' to 5' tall and are not branched.  They ship and transplant with excellent results and are usually the choice of commercial growerS
